At River School of Ministry, we are a passionate community of revivalists. We know that God is raising up a people after His very own heart who value His word and His voice and who carry His glory into their family’s and cities. Worshipping Jesus, receiving His word, loving one another and transforming our region through the power of His Spirit is our mandate.

    Apart from abiding in Jesus, it is impossible to bear remaining fruit. Our first ministry is to God. As we behold Him, we are moved to worship with joyous passion.

    God is good and, by nature, in a good mood. God is a good Father; we can trust Him regardless of our circumstances.

  • Honor Affirms Value

    Honor recognizes and affirms that every person is valuable and powerful. We are made in God’s image; He died to restore us to relationship with Him, therefore we are significant.

  • Creating Healthy Family

    We are adopted into God’s family, so we intentionally create family and community wherever we go, through service in the local church and the community in which we are placed.

  • Value For His Word and His Voice

    The Bible is the source of infallible truth and authority by which we judge all insight and prophetic revelation. God wants to communicate with His family. It is important for us to actively listen for His voice and experience the variety of ways He communicates.

  • Freedom and Responsibility

    Christ died to set us free from sin, death, fear, and shame in order to establish us in freedom so we can live and love as God’s glorious children. We are responsible for partnering with the Holy Spirit to continually develop the foundation of our character so our character can support our growing influence and anointing.

  • Jesus Empowers Supernatural Ministry

    Jesus promised signs would follow believers and they would do even greater works than He did. We believe and live the prayer, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

    Our Father God is limitless! We pursue the freedom to dream and dare to access the unlimited resources that are available to us in the Kingdom of God. We believe that it is in His ability that we see and live a lifestyle of the miraculous.

Our Director and Founder

Candace Berney is the Director and Founder of River School of Ministry as well as the Associate Pastor of River of Life Church. She was born and raised in Merritt Island, FL and loves the Space Coast region. In attending a three-year missions program in the Middle East when she was 18 years old, she learned one of the most valuable keys to her life, “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” (John 15:4) Growing up as a PK (pastor’s kid), Candace has experienced virtually every area of ministry.

In 2020, she launched River School of Supernatural Ministry (which later became RSM) with the help of leadership and Bethel School Planting. Honored to lead this apostolic movement as well as several other initiatives, bringing unity and revival to the region, Candace is passionate about bringing heaven to earth. She has a deep love for people, prayer, her city, the local church and the nations of the earth. What she values most of all, is that she is a loved daughter of King Jesus and an arrow in His hand, following wherever He leads.

  • School begins the first week of September and goes through the beginning of May. The weekly class schedule and this year’s calendar can be found on the website under Apply Now at rssmfl.net/parttime

  • The application fee is $25

  • Books, most school conferences and admin fees.

  • We do not offer financial aid or scholarships. We do however provide a payment plan.

    We do offer a $200 Pastoral Staff + Family discount for all active Pastoral Staff and their immediate family.

  • We encourage you to share your heart and why you feel called to spend the next school year with us by creating a video to post on your social media handles. This is a great opportunity to share your fundraising needs for tuition!

    We believe that God is more than able to provide the resources for you to attend. Seek Him about your interest in RSM and believe that He is directing your steps and can provide the resources necessary to attend.

  • First Year is about developing your identity as a son/daughter.

    Second Year is about developing Kingdom understanding in Leadership.

    Third Year is about putting into action your leadership skills and giftings through mentorship.

  • No, you will graduate at the end of each school year so you are able to attend one, two or three years.

  • Our minimum age for RSM is 18 years old. There is no maximum age!

  • Only RSM Alumni are able to sit in on classes.
